Welcome To Our Website

This is the site for the Kanawha Valley Web Illustrators, Designers, and Developers (KVWILD) Adobe Users Group located in the Charleston, West Virginia Metro area. Formerly, we were the West Virginia Macromedia Users Group (WVMUG) which was founded by Brian Meloche.

We meet once a month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, usually at the South Charleston Library on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Details about a particular session can be found on the Meetings page.

Please look at the individual meeting listings below to determine where a particular meeting is being held. If you need a loaner PC/laptop for any particular event, please let me know in advance so that I can reserve one for you from the library for the evening. Light refreshments are usually served, and at special events, we have pizza and other goodies.

Our August meeting will be held at CONTACT POINTE (formerly Executrain) in LAIDLEY TOWER from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday the 24tth. We will be working on a group project that involves using multiple Adobe technologies. If you don't have your own laptop, there will be desktop machines provided. You may park in the parking building next to Laidley Tower (usually free after 6pm).

Our September meeting will be held at the SOUTH CHARLESTON LIBRARY from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday , the 28th. Topic will be Accessibility and PDFs and we may continue working on the project from August.

Our October meeting will be held at the SOUTH CHARLESTON LIBRARY from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, the 28th. If we can work out a photowalk prior to the meeting , we willl be processing the photos with Photshop..

Our November meeting will be held at the SOUTH CHARLESTON LIBRARY from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, the 16th, one week early due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Topic is TBA.

Our December meeting location is TBA. The topic being considered is doing a KVWILD commercial utilizing Adobe Soundbooth.
