Welcome To Our Website

This is the site for the Kanawha Valley Web Illustrators, Designers, and Developers (KVWILD) Adobe Users Group located in the Charleston, West Virginia Metro area. Formerly, we were the West Virginia Macromedia Users Group (WVMUG) which was founded by Brian Meloche.

We meet once a month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, usually at the South Charleston Library on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Details about a particular session can be found on the Meetings page.

Please look at the individual meeting listings below to determine where a particular meeting is being held. If you need a loaner PC/laptop for any particular event, please let me know in advance so that I can reserve one for you from the library for the evening. Light refreshments are usually served, and at special events, we have pizza and other goodies.

Our June meeting will be held at the South Charleston Library on Tuesday the 23rd. Topic is Flex 4 / Flash Catalyst User Group Tour. Come learn about the newest features in the Flex 4 framework, Flex Builder 4 and the newest Adobe product -- Flash Catalyst. See product feature demos, and learn how the new Flex framework powers both Flash Catalyst and Flex Builder to speed the development and testing of rich Internet applications and content. Light refreshments will be served.

Our July meeting will be held at the South Charleston Library on Tuesday the 28th. Topic is Adobe ColdFusion User Group Tour 2009 June 8-26, 2009. The Adobe ColdFusion team is hitting the road to discuss Centaur, the next version of ColdFusion, and Bolt (code name for the highly anticipated first ColdFusion IDE from Adobe). Learn about exciting new features and discover how Centaur and Bolt will accelerate your ColdFusion application development. Visit the tour calendar to find a stop near you!
